FORESTBURG RECREATION, ARTS AND CULTURE GRANTS (FRACCA)
General Purpose -Provide funding through a grant process to small recreation, arts and culture groups operating within the Village of Forestburg
Funding—The Village of Forestburg will set aside a yearly budget amount for FRACCA grants of not more than $2500.00. The maximum grant available to any one group will be $1,000. Applications will be received throughout the year and will be dealt with on a first come/first serve basis until all budgeted funding is committed.
Eligibility Eligible groups must be based in the Village of Forestburg, groups must not receive any other funding from the Village of Forestburg., A budget for the program/event including all revenue sources must accompany all requests for funding. A current Revenue and Expenditure Statement setting out all current sources of revenue must accompany all requests for funding. A copy of the most recent bank reconciliation and bank statement for all bank accounts used by the group must accompany all requests for funding. A statement indicating all reserves and/or investments must accompany all requests for funding.
The goal of this grant is to Improve the capacity of these small groups to benefit the residents of the Village of Forestburg and to Ensure the longevity of small recreation, arts and culture groups within the Village.
