Battle River Railway, located in Forestburg, is a shortline railway partner of CN and as such can ship anywhere in North America.
They ship a variety of products including, but not limited to Grains and oil.
Battle River Railway was formed in 2010 when the rail line from Camrose to Alliance was purchased from CN.
The primary business of BRR is moving grain for local farmers, although BRR can handle any type of freight.
Over the years BRR has handled crude oil, frac sand, fertilizer and even large transformers.
We even handle passengers! The Friends of the BRR hosts regular excursion runs- check out their website for more info https://www.battlerivertrain.com/
If you are a farmer with grain to market, a potential customer looking to move freight, or just someone looking to take a ride down the rails, give us a call to see what BRR can do for you.
BRR is a new generation co-operative with over 150 farmer shareholders and 200 community member shareholders.
We are committed to positively impacting our local communities through trade, growth and employment.
